Faculty of Physiotherapy works under the umbrella of BMU which came into existence in 2012 but it has deep roots in the education sector since 1998 with a huge network of alumni around the world. The Faculty of Physiotherapy is a leading institution for physiotherapy education, research, and clinical practice. Our faculty is committed to providing students with a world-class education, preparing them to become competent, compassionate, and innovative physiotherapists.
The Physiotherapy department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including: Modern lecture theaters and tutorial rooms, Well-equipped laboratories for anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, Clinical simulation labs for hands-on training and Research facilities for interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Our mission is to provide high-quality education and training in physiotherapy, emphasizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and lifelong learning, Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration in research, education, and clinical practice and to prepare graduates to become leaders in the field of physiotherapy, making a positive impact on the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
Along with Physiotherapy, Faculty of Physiotherapy also provide two programs i.e. B.Sc Optometry and B.Sc Medical Lab Technology. B.Sc MLT is a specialized undergraduate program that trains students in laboratory testing, disease diagnosis and medical research. B.Sc Optometry equips students with expertise in eye examination, vision correction and ocular disease management.
These programs offer hands-on-training, diverse career opportunity in hospitals, clinics and research centers and pathways for higher studies.

For admission to BPT programme, the candidate must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board and passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English with 50% marks or Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalent examination as per the guidelines of the Association of Indian Universities to determine the eligibility and must have passed in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English up to 12th Standard level. |
