Purpose of Data Collection

The collected information is used only for official university services, including:

• User Authentication
• Attendance Verification
• Academic Services
• Employee Services
• Fraud Prevention

Location

Location is collected only while attendance is being marked. The application verifies that the student is physically present within the permitted attendance area before allowing attendance.

Camera

The camera is used only to capture a live attendance selfie. Gallery images cannot be selected for attendance verification.

Photos

Attendance photographs are captured in real time during attendance verification only.

Device Verification

The application uses a device identifier to improve account security and reduce unauthorized access. Device verification helps prevent fraudulent attendance and multiple-device logins by restricting account access to the registered device where applicable. This information is not used for advertising or user profiling.

Data Sharing

Personal information is not sold to third parties. Information is processed only for official university purposes.

Data Security

All communication between the application and university servers is performed using secure encrypted connections.
